Keep your current booking system and supported calendar. Add optional DetailSlate AI Chat, AI Phone Receptionist, or both as a standalone AI Concierge—no Workspace subscription or forced move to the full DetailSlate workspace is required.
AI is optional and separate from the in-workspace support assistant. Workspace subscribers still pay for Workspace; each AI feature is then added at the lower Workspace add-on price, discounted by $15.00/month per feature compared with its standalone price.

Workspace is billed separately. Both receptionist plans include the same features; only the included monthly action limit differs.
Books one or more services in a combined appointment, handles verified appointment changes, and can route a caller-requested live transfer or unresolved request to your team.
Optional missed-call SMS must be enabled by the owner and requires an SMS-capable DetailSlate number and an approved campaign. Messages come from that DetailSlate number; direct-number follow-ups are sent only after busy, failed, or unanswered calls. The receptionist may respond for up to 24 hours after a caller replies. Owner-enabled text storage makes the thread available in the shared inbox. The limit is 100 outbound segments per billing period, with no rollover or overage.
Only completed appointment actions or captured follow-up requests count. Informational, routing, unsuccessful, and abandoned calls do not.

AI Phone Receptionist usage is counted only when a call successfully completes an appointment action, such as creating, rescheduling, or cancelling a booking, including a booking saved while awaiting payment or business approval, or captures a follow-up request for the business. Purely informational or routing calls, unsuccessful attempts, and calls that end without a completed appointment or follow-up action do not count toward the monthly call allowance or reload usage. Entry includes 150 completed actions and Standard includes 300 per billing month. Additional team members: $15.00/member/month for this AI feature. Recurring coverage: $40.00/month for 150 more completed appointment-action calls. Optional automatic reloads are off by default: $45.00 per reload adds 150 more completed appointment-action calls. Entry allows at most one automatic reload per billing period; Standard uses a finite limit set in AI Settings. Phone does not offer manual reload purchases.
AI Chat plus the Receptionist costs $120.00/month standalone with Entry, or $150.00/month standalone with Standard, before seats or additional usage. Workspace remains a separate subscription. AI enabled during an active Workspace trial follows that existing Workspace trial; a trial is not restarted when another AI feature is added to an active shared subscription.
The Workspace add-on amounts above are not the total Workspace price: your Workspace Subscription is billed separately, with the discounted AI add-on amount added to it. Team seats and usage charges, if any, are also separate.

Online Payment Platform Fees
Online deposits have a $1.00 flat DetailSlate platform fee, and online remaining-balance payments have a $1.50 flat platform fee. Stripe processing fees are separate and calculated for the transaction. Each business independently chooses whether to absorb the platform fee or show it to the customer as a separate line before payment. DetailSlate does not charge a percentage commission on booking value.
Deposit Payment Fee
The $1.00 flat DetailSlate platform fee applies only when an appointment requires a security deposit and the customer pays that deposit online through DetailSlate. Setting a deposit requirement alone does not incur the fee. The Stripe processing fee is separate and varies with the transaction. The business may absorb the $1.00 platform fee or pass it to the customer as an itemized checkout line.
Balance Payment Fee
The $1.50 flat DetailSlate platform fee applies when a client pays the remaining balance online through DetailSlate; the Stripe processing fee is separate and varies with the transaction. The business may absorb the platform fee or pass it through as an itemized checkout line.

The current configured processing model is 2.9% + $0.30. Stripe’s actual processing cost can vary by payment method and account terms. The estimate uses the configured rate on the amount charged. When the business absorbs processing, the current fee allocation can differ slightly from Stripe’s estimated cost; the calculator shows both and does not change the existing charge calculation (2025-01-gross-up-v1). The configured deposit platform fee is $1.00.
Payouts & Processing
Expedited Payouts
A 1.5% fee applies only to the requested expedited amount if you choose to speed up a transfer. Standard payouts are free and process on the normal schedule.
Card Processing
The card processing fee is calculated from the actual transaction amount and the configured processor-cost policy. The business may absorb it or pass it through as a separately itemized amount before payment. In some operating states, state rules require the business to absorb it or impose additional conditions, so the customer surcharge option is not universally available.
